USA: ABDUL B. KAMARA AKA "CHIEF":

Dear editor. Can you please publish part 2 of my article which is in response to ALPHA SAIDU BANGURA’s article captioned “ Is this president serious about battling corruption”

For those of us who could recalled, before the election that brought Ernest Koroma and the APC back to power, all the articles, commentaries, or discussions of ALPHA SAIDU BANGURA is about the APC and the top leaders. If at one point he is not bashing the party, he is personally attacking and saying negative things about the leaders.

WHY?

Well by the time you finish reading my piece, you will get a clear picture of who this guy ALPHA SAIDU is, and his hidden agenda, and why he is constantly levying unfounded and baseless attack on APC and its leaders. We all love Sierra Leone, and want to see our beloved nation be again the envy of West Africa in every aspect of socio-economic developments. There is nothing wrong in exercising one’s freedom of speech, especially when it is being done constructively, and not in hatred and malice like the way ALPHA SAIDU is doing it. Those of you who don’t know him, and happens to come across his writings may think he has a genuine interest and love for Sierra Leone. The truth of the matter is ALPHA SAIDU IS a die-hard SLPP supporter who wants to seek for political asylum in the US.

GAME PLAN

ALPHA SAIDU BANGURA has set an off-side trap for the APC leaders. And he is trying every means possible to get them to succumb to his bait. For those of you who are familiar with how the fisher man catches fish from the river will clearly see where I am coming from, and see a clear picture of ALPHA SAIDU’s ulterior and selfish motive. Now let me put ALPHA SAIDU’s game plan into perspective, from time to time he is malignantly opposing the APC party and spitefully saying things that are inaccurate and untrue about President Ernest Koroma, Hon. Kemoh Sesay, Alpha Kanu,

Ambassador Bockarie Steven’s and other APC leaders hoping that one of them will react, or respond adversely to his personal attack on them and the party. So that he will get a ground to seek asylum in the US.

FACTS # 1

Under the Geneva Convention an individual who think his life will be in danger if he returns to his home country because of political and religious affiliation, or other reason(s) as stipulated in UNCHR chatter for asylum seeking, that individual is entitle to seek for political asylum in the country of current resident.

FACTS.# 2

Last year Saidu Bangura, surreptitiously left the shore of Maryland to seek refuge in the house of the son of SOLO B in Atlanta, Georgia. .Before he left Maryland, he was well known in the Sierra Leonean community as a party manic, (excited by hunting music) a wanderer, loquacious, attention seeker and unsettled. During his stay in Atlanta he was a guest to the son of the popular and dynamic SOLO-B. Whilst is Atlanta, living with Berewa junior. ALPHA SAIDU was fed, clothed and made to feel at home, at some point most Sierra Leoneans in the Atlanta area thought that he was another son of PA BEREWA, especially when he was carrying SLPP on his sleeve and selling SOLO-B every where he goes.

One thing ALPHA SAIDU is failing to realize is the fact that these gentlemen and the new APC are respecter of the rule of law and the constitutional rights of every Sierra Leonean regardless of tribe, or party affiliation. This new APC has learned the hard way from the past mistakes, therefore as president Koroma and the government is working tireless round the clock to make life better for the average Sierra Leonean, nuisance like ALPHA SAIDU is writing negative things to distract other people who are engaging in constructive and meaningful debate. ALPHA SAIDU, if you love Sierra Leone, and the SLPP, go back home and help to put your part back on track because it is going down the Drain.
