FREETOWN: NEW PEOPLE CORRESPONDENT: The National Election Rigging ‘Kommission’ hereby registers its apologies for the delay in the release of the results for the 447 polling stations that were invalidated in the September 2007 Presidential elections. Owing to the persistent writings by the local newspapers and the opposition SLPP for the release of these results, and after several attempts by ouR election rigging experts, Messers Sharva and Carlos to Doctor the data at the tally centre, it is our pleasure to now make the results public.
Today, we shall be reporting on 66 polling stations and there are about 411 polling stations pending. There will be no press conference tomorrow as the commission is investigating cases of tampered boxes at the Pujehun Palaver Hut.
