CHARLES MARGAI TELLS SUPPORTERS: "APC Government Nor Able".

5.12.2008

PMDC Leader, Charles MargaiFREETOWN: PRINCE MANNAH LUSENI: The leader of the People’s Movement for Democratic Change (PMDC) Charles Margai has told his supporters in Moyamba on Sunday May 11 th that the APC government is not competent to run the country and that after five years he will be the next president of Sierra Leone.

Addressing people at the PMDC office in Moyamba Charles Margai said the global trends that the ruling APC government is overplaying is a clear show of their ineptitude to run the country. He told the gathering that he is disappointed in the APC as they have fallen back on the things for which they fought against the former ruling party. He expressed regrets in teaming up with the APC to kick the SLPP out of office for their manner of doing things. He assured his supporters of clinching the presidency in 2012.

Meanwhile, the PMDC has suffered a major setback in Moyamba as the former organising secretary Ezekiel Tommy has quit the party and chose to contest the local council elections as an independent candidate. Mr. Tommy is said to have told people to vote for him not as PMDC but as an independent man devoid of the strings of the PMDC. He is said to have been disappointed in Charles Margai’s leadership and is considering redeploying himself later.
