Message from The New People Management Team

Welcome to the New People Online. The driving force behind the New People is our belief and commitment to the ideology of the founding fathers of our nation Sir Milton Margai, Kandeh Bureh and all those great leaders before them who contributed to the building of our nation.

Sierra Theatres Presents Let Me Die Alone

We all know that Tradition is the "passing on" of beliefs, customs or practices of people from one generation to the other. Most of us are guided by these beliefs and customs, others think and act differently sometimes. No matter who or what you are, you always have some traits of your tradition in you that occasionally reminds you of who you are, and where you or your folks come from. Everyone is proud of their tradition and always want to show it.

Well, Sierra Theatre Productions in the USA is back to educate and entertain you in grand style this summer. They are coming up LIVE on stage with one of Sierra Leone's best traditional stories ever told, "LET ME DIE ALONE" (The Life And Times Of Madam Yoko), written by one of Sierra Leone best and respected Writer and Drama Legend - Mr. Kolosa John Kargbo, directed by Sierra Leone's young and talented uprising director - Mr. David Vandy, who is also the host of "The African Beat Program" of the Voice Of America (VOA).

Please reserve the date for this historic presentation on this historic evening. Saturday July 3, 2010, the eve of "America Independence Celebration" on July 4, when this great nation secured its freedom from Great Britain. Please see the flyer below for details.
